The NC chapter of the FFLA is currently accepting contributions for the following lookout towers restoration projects:
· Shuckstack (Great Smoky Mountains NP) · Mt. Sterling (Great Smoky Mountains NP) · Mt. Noble (Cherokee Indian Reservation) · Green Knob (Pisgah National Forest)
Funds will be used entirely for materials purchase and costs associated with the physical restoration and rehabilitation of these lookout towers. Contributions to the FFLA are 501c tax deductible. A receipt will be issued by the FFLA upon receipt of your donation.
To make a contribution to a specific lookout tower restoration project: please make checks payable to “Forest Fire Lookout Association” and mail to:
