· Page 143: The correct GPS coordinates for the Rich Mountain lookout are:

35.92719° N, 82.80491° W

· Page 155: Camp Creek Bald Map - FS 465 is incorrectly also labeled as “Hickey Fork Trail”. The solid line north of trailhead #3 is FS 465. It is currently closed for flood damage repair but will be reopened soon. It will provide access to the southern terminus of the Whiteoak Flats Trail. Contact the Appalachian Ranger District for updated road closure information.

· Page 155: Camp Creek Bald Map - A dotted line to represent the short access trail to the Appalachian Trail described in Hike #2 is missing. It should extend 0.1 mile due south from trailhead #2 to the Appalachian Trail, just above the wording “Jones Meadow”. The dotted line evident in between trailhead #1 and #2 icons is erroneous and does not represent a trail.

· Page 63: The hike to Wesser Bald with trailhead beginning at the NOC is Hike #3, not Hike #2 as written.

· Page 57: Hike #1 to Wesser Bald via the Appalachian Trail is only 1.4 mi. one-way.

· Page 152: Earl Shaffer’s 1st ever thru hike was in 1948, as correctly indicated in the Wesser Bald chapter.
